about

This album is focusing on the sounds possible inside VCV rack; no samples were used. I also used the Moog Subharmonicon and 0-Coast for one song each. I try to push my own skills and boundaries with this album.

Part One is a slower song to start with when you hear wooden chimes and a slow horn sound. I wanted a nice transition to this album if you had just listened to my previous one.

Part Two The Moog is the main voice that is playing from the start. I wanted to focus on its sound only adding 2 other synth voices with VCV rack to accompany it.

Part Three I simulated the sound of the ocean or wind with different types of noise and modulation. I wanted this song to have a pulsing breathing feeling going in and out.

Part Four A story of chaos and movement and odd sounds I use the 0-Coast to help with this as it is able to create strange atonal sounds.

Part Five I wanted to work on making more sounds that sound as if they are struck instruments with a hollow feeling to them. This is a sadder song.

Part Six This is taking Part Five to its conclusion pushing the possible sounds and using more rhythms then I normally would.

Part Seven Is Farewell and a thank you to VCV Rack for teaching me so much. Part Seven is very relaxing with large pads and modulating sounds that change as time changes for them.
